What has been decided – and what has not yet been decided?
The federal cabinet has passed the draft law. This does not replace the parliamentary procedure and the promulgation of a law. This page represents the expressly identified draft, not a certain future claim.
What the draft provides for home care
Care allowance (Pflegegeld) should be included in the relief budget. The Relief amount (Entlastungsbetrag) is to be replaced by a social space budget from Care level (Pflegegrad) 2. The common annual amount is to be replaced by a differently designed bridging budget.

The independent service for consumable care aids should be eliminated. The financing should be taken into account in the new relief budget.
For Care level (Pflegegrad) 1, the Relief amount (Entlastungsbetrag) is omitted from the design.
Instead, stronger advice and support are planned. No monetary amount is derived from this.
Age is important when it comes to the social space budget.

The examples show pure annual frames with unchanged age. A birthday with a change in age group in the year is not calculated pro rata.
Which amounts remain outstanding?
The new outpatient benefit-in-kind budgets and inpatient amounts have not yet been finally checked in our draft regulations. They are shown as open; previous amounts will not be updated without being checked.
For today's decisions, rely on applicable law and have your individual claim checked. The switch in the calculator only shows a separate design scenario.
